The Outside is Done!

We have all the trim and siding up. Don't get me wrong... There is still plenty to do on the outside - like decks, etc. But this job was huge. And it is done!

Now we can focus on the inside!!

More of the outside is being worked on!!

We have some siding up!! Some on the front and side. Russ hopes to have it done by Tuesday!

Dad had asked for photos of Charity's car. Here it is!! ;-p

French doors installed!

All the windows and doors are in. How very exciting!!We hoped to be able to rent scaffold to start the siding this week. But we had a bunch of rain and we currently cannot get to the house.

It has a ROOF!!

Lots of great things happening!

We have our roof on. It's done!

We have our cedar and siding to finish the outside. Depending on how much rain we get tonight will determine if the siding gets started this coming week.

We decided to put another window in my craft room. And the guest room window is also installed.

We changed our plans a little and decided to put in a door from the guest bath to the deck (the deck isn't in yet off the back of the house). We bought the appropriate door to exit from our bedroom. In the photo of the back of the house, you can see the opening for the french doors (that is in another photo). The guys hope to have the french doors installed before the rain starts this evening!

A month or so ago, Russ finished the gable end of the addition.

And for anyone who has been here, Russ also cleaned up two piles of junk!

Also, we are supposed to get a really bad storm tonight. So we took the gift cards that my mom and Ed got us for Christmas and the one that Russ's mom and dad got us and bought our front door. Russ installed it this evening. It is solid Mahogany.
